The purpose of the proposed rule is to update Rule 40B-3.101, Florida Administrative Code, to require proof of real property ownership and tax parcel identification numbers on water well construction permit applications. The effect of the proposed rule amendments will also provide for better identification of wells, and in turn, staff will be able to better assist with public inquiries.
