33FINAL ORDER AND PUBLIC REPORT

38The State of Florida Commission on Ethics, meeting in public session on Friday, October

5225, 2013, adopted the Joint Stipulation of Fact, Law and Recommended Order entered into

66between the Advocate for the Commission and the Respondent in this matter. In accordance

80with the Stipulation, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, the

93Commission finds that the Respondent, as a member of the Deerfield Beach Housing Authority,

107violated Section 112.313(7)(a), Florida Statutes, by having a conflicting employment or

118contractual relationship when he served as president of a private company that leased office

132space from the Housing Authority.

137For this violation, the Commission hereby recommends that the Respondent be ordered to

150pay a civil penalty in the amount of$1,250.

159ORDERED by the State of Florida Commission on Ethics meeting in public session on

173October 25, 2013.
