1This rule chapter shall not be construed to conflict with the Rule of Civil Procedure. Moreover, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has no objection to and hereby authorizes an alternative procedure whereby claims for reward under Section 39790.164, F.S., 41may be presented in proceedings ancillary to the criminal prosecution under Section 53790.164, F.S., 55so long as the court is satisfied and specifically finds that all potential claimants of the reward have had notice and an adequate opportunity to present their claims.
