1Any person coming within the purview of Chapter 324, F.S., whose driver’s license or registration and tag may be subject to suspension shall, upon written request to the Department in Tallahassee, Florida, be entitled to an administrative hearing. Upon receipt of a written request for a hearing the Department shall fix the time and place of the hearing and give written notice thereof to the applicant at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, notice thereof to be effective upon mailing.
