15B-10.001. Purpose and Authority

Effective on Tuesday, December 9, 1980

1The purpose of this chapter is to prevent the operation over the public streets and highways of any truck, truck tractor, trailer or semi-trailer which is in an unsafe condition as provided by Sections 35316.215 36and 37316.610, 38Florida Statutes, and this chapter. The power to enforce this chapter is vested in the Weight Inspection Officers of the Department of Transportation.
