15C-1.003. Temporary Tags; Definitions and Use

Effective on Monday, March 4, 1996

1(1) For the purpose of this rule and Rule 1015C-1.004, 11F.A.C., the following words have the meaning indicated:
19(a) Temporary tag – A white cardboard license plate designed and distributed by the Division of 35Motorist Services37.

38(b) Issuer – Includes motor vehicle dealers licensed under Section 48320.27, F.S., 50mobile home and recreational vehicle dealers licensed under Section 59320.77, F.S.; 61and banks, credit unions and other financial institutions who issue temporary tags for the purpose of demonstrating repossessions for sale.

81(2) Temporary tags may be used only until midnight of the thirtieth (30th) calendar day following the day of issuance. The day of issuance shall count as the first day.
