20-11.002. Regrading and Reinspection

  • 1In the event the composite test fails to pass the maturity standards as prescribed by law and Department of Citrus Rules, the inspector may require that the lot be regraded or separated at the place where such fruit is found, and that portion which is graded out for reasons of immaturity shall be condemned and destroyed. Additional tests may be made by the inspector to determine adequacy of regrading. If the owner or persons in charge fails to grade or separate a lot which has been found to contain immature fruit, the entire lot may be condemned and destroyed.
