25-12.024. Prohibition of Pipelines Under Buildings

Effective on Tuesday, October 7, 1975

1Where practicable, no portion of an operator’s gas pipeline shall be installed under a building nor any portion of a building be allowed to be constructed over a segment of any pipeline. Where this requirement cannot be met, pipelines under buildings shall be encased with necessary sealing and venting provided to assure that any gas leakage which may occur on the portion of the pipeline under or adjacent to the building will be safely contained within the casing or vented to a safe location.
