29A-1.002. Purpose

Effective on Monday, May 11, 1987

1The Council shall function as the official regional planning council as defined in Chapter 186, Florida Statutes, and as the regional planning agency as defined in Chapters 23, 163 and 380, F.S. The Council shall exercise the powers, duties, functions and responsibilities for conducting planning, review and assistance activities and functions enumerated by legislative and declarations of Chapters 186 and 380, F.S., and other applicable federal, state and local laws.
