40C-3. Water Wells |
1(1) Any well which is an abandoned artesian well under Section 12373.203(1), F.S., 14shall be plugged in accordance with this section.
22(2) All abandoned wells shall be plugged as set forth in subsection 3440C-3.517(8), 35F.A.C., unless otherwise specified by the District. The work shall be accomplished by a licensed water well contractor.
53(3) Request to abandon a well shall be submitted on 63State of Florida Permit Application to Construct, Repair, Modify, or Abandon a Well, DEP Form 7862-532.900(1), 79which is incorporated by reference in paragraph 40C-3.036(9)(a), F.A.C., 88unless the well is exempt from permitting under Rule 9740C-3.051, 98F.A.C.
