    100(2) 101How to Enter. 104To enter a non-winning 108BRITTO109 110Scratch-Off ticket in113to 114one of the 117second chance d120rawings further described in subsection (1263127) below, 129players must enter on the Florida Lottery’s website at 138flalottery.com139. On the home page of the Lottery’s website, players can click on the 153B154RITTO155 156Second Chance Promotion 159banner 160and follow the 163“Ticket Entry” 165directions. 166Players will be prompted to log-172in or register. The 24-digit ticket number (4-digit game number and 20-digit ticket number) is located at the bottom on the front of a 196BRITTO197 198Scratch-Off ticket under the latex covering. Players are to 207s208cratch off the latex covering to reveal the number and enter the 220entire 24222-digit 223ticket number 225in the designated 228area. 229Players may enter as many times as they wish during the contest period; however, each valid ticket number may only be used one time, for one 255entry 256in257to 258one 259second chance d262rawing. 263Tickets should not be mailed to the Lottery unless players are contacted by the Lottery and requested to do so. 283Non-winning tickets received in the mail by the Florida Lottery will not be entered in298to 299the drawing and will not be returned.     617(a) 618The Lottery will attempt to notify each winner by telep628ho629n630e, U.S. mail or email using the contact information provided in th642e 643winner’s registration data 646no later than 649twenty-four hours 651after the winners are 655posted on the website.

    659(b) 660I661f the 663Lottery is unable to 667have personal 669contact 670with 671a grand, second, or third 676prize winner 678within 679thirty days 681of the date of the drawing, the winner will forfeit his or her right to claim the prize and the Lottery will award the prize to 707the first 709alternate winner711. 712If the Lottery is unable to 718have personal 720contact 721with 722the 723first 724alternate winner within 727thirty days, 729the alternate winner will forfeit his or her right to claim the prize and the Lottery will award the prize to a second alternate winner. This process will continue until an alternate 761is contacted 763or the Lottery has exhausted the list of available alternates. If the Lottery is unable to contact an alternate, the prize will not be awarded.

    788(789c790) 791All entries in the 795second chance drawings 798are subject to validation by the Lottery and may be disqualified if eligibility requirements are not met.

    823(a) 824To claim a 827grand 828or 829s830econd 831prize 832in a 834BRITTO835 836second chance drawing, 839the 840winner 841must submit to the Lottery the original valid non-winning 850BRITTO851 852Scratch-Off 853ticket 854bearing the entry number selected in the drawing, 862a 863completed Winner Claim Form DOL 868173-2, revised 08719872/18733, 874or Spanish Winner Claim Form DOL 880173-2S, revised 88209883/18843, 885and 886a 887copy of acceptable 890identification 891as 892set forth in the rule of the Florida Lottery governing payment of prizes. A copy of the current prize payment rule can be obtained from the Florida Lottery, Office of the General Counsel, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-4011. 931The 932required 933documents 934must be received by the Lottery no later than 943two 944week945s 946after the winner is notified by the Lottery that he or she is a winner961. 962If the Lottery has not received the required 970documents 971by the 973fourteenth 974day after notification, 977the winner will forfeit his or her right to claim the prize and the Lottery will award the prize to an alternate winner in accordance with 1003subsection (4) 1005and 1006paragraph 1007(100851009)1010(1011b1012), 1013above.

The reportable taxable value of 1109the 1110grand 1111prize is the value of the grand prize plus the value of the federal income tax withholding 1128paid by the Lottery.     1233(1123401235) 1236Taxes. 1237Except as specifically mentioned herein, all federal, state and/or local taxes or other fees on the prizes won in the 1257BRITTO1258 1259Second Chance 1261Promotion 1262are 1263the responsibility of the winner.

    1268(1126911270) Other Restrictions and Provisions.

    1275(a) The Florida Lottery reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute different prizes of comparable value should a grand prize, second or third prize become unavailable.

    1303(b) No cash option is available in lieu of non-cash 1313BRITTO1314 1315Second Chance Promotion 1318prizes.

    1319(1320c1321) Players must be at least 18 years of age. Persons prohibited by 1334S1335ection 133624.116, 1337F1338.1339S1340., 1341from purchasing a Florida Lottery ticket are not eligible to play.

    1352(1353d1354) All prizes are subject to the provisions of Chapter 24, F1366.1367S1368., 1369and rules promulgated thereunder.

    1373Prizes shall be paid in accordance with the rule of the Florida Lottery governing payment of prizes. A copy of the current prize payment rule can be obtained from the Florida Lottery, Office of the General Counsel, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-4011.

    1416(1417e1418) By entering the 1422BRITTO1423 1424Second Chance Promotion, 1427a player gives his or her permission for the Florida Lottery to photograph and/or videotape and record the 1445winner 1446with or without prior notification and to use the name, photograph, videotape, and/or recording of the 1462winner 1463for advertising or publicity purposes without additional compensation.

    1471(1472f1473) 1474BRITTO1475 1476second chance d1479rawings shall be public, held in Tallahassee, Florida, and witnessed by an accountant employed by an independent certified public accounting firm. The results of each drawing will be available after the drawing on the Florida Lottery’s website at flalottery.com.
