53ER20. Emergency Rule For Year 2020 |
1(1) Beginning June 23, 2020, the Florida Lottery will conduct the MEGA MILLIONS14® 15Quick Cash Promotion (“Promotion”). For every 1522th 23$9 or more MEGA MILLIONS with Megaplier30® 31single ticket sold statewide, a cash prize coupon for $15 41(“coupon”) will be generated.
45(2) A coupon will automatically print separately following a qualifying trigger MEGA MILLIONS with Megaplier ticket purchase. Only one coupon will print per qualifying ticket purchase regardless of the number of plays or purchase price of the ticket. The trigger ticket will contain a “Prize Alert!” symbol at the bottom of the ticket and a message at the top of the ticket that says “Congratulations! You Win a $15 Instant Cash Prize! Obtain your Cash Prize Coupon from Retailer.” Players can redeem the coupon at any Florida Lottery retailer. Coupons must be redeemed by October 31, 2020. Coupons may not be redeemed by mail. Coupons received in the mail by the Florida Lottery will not be redeemed or returned.
164(3) Should an issue arise concerning the ticket purchase and/or coupon, it is the player’s responsibility to seek resolution of the issue with the retailer and the Lottery prior to leaving the retail location.
198(4) The Promotion will conclude after 20,000 cash prize coupons are generated statewide.
212(5) All prizes are subject to the provisions of Chapter 24, F224.225S226., 227and rules promulgated thereunder. Except as otherwise provided herein, $15 Cash Prize Coupons will be paid in accordance with the rule of the Florida Lottery governing payment of prizes. Copies of the current prize payment rule can be obtained from the Florida Lottery, Office of the General Counsel, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-4011.
