53ER22. Emergency Rule for Year 2022 |
1(1) On November 25, 2022 a/k/a “Black Friday” (one day) (“Promotion Period”), the Florida Lottery will conduct the Super Grouper Black Friday Promotion (“Promotion”).

92(3) How to Enter.
96(a) 97Players who purchase a $10 GROUPER103® 104Super Sampler (“Qualifying Purchase”) on November 25, 2022 may enter the Promotion for a chance to win the prize described in subsection (2), above.
128(b) Players making a Qualifying Purchase wanting to enter the Promotion shall provide a photograph of himself/herself holding his/her $10 GROUPER Super Sampler ticket purchase to the Florida Lottery. Players shall ensure that all seven (7) tickets, or six (6) tickets and the coupon for the PICK 3 Str/Box PLUS FIREBALL ticket, if the ticket did not print, making up the GROUPER Super Sampler purchase clearly appear in the photograph. When photographing, tickets may be fanned out or overlap but must clearly show at least the top ticket, the language printed at the top of the ticket, and the date printed on the ticket. The player will not include any other individuals in the photograph. The player shall then email a single photograph to the Florida Lottery at promotions@flalottery.com; this constitutes an “entry.” No other method of entry is permitted. Only one (1) entry per player is permitted, and only one (1) prize will be awarded per player. 286Fictitious names and business names will not be accepted and shall subject the player and any associated entry to disqualification. 306The Lottery must receive the emailed entry containing a photograph by 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on November 25, 2022. Should the photograph submitted be indiscernible, at the Lottery’s sole discretion, the entry may be disqualified, and no additional entry is permitted.
346(c) Only Super Grouper purchases, subject to retailer and Lottery office hours, and associated entries made on November 25, 2022 by 11:59:59 p.m. are eligible.
371(d) The odds of winning depend on the number of email entries received during the Promotion Period.
388(e) Prizewinners will 391be selected using the nth entry selection process.
399(4) How to Claim. The Lottery will notify prizewinners on or about November 28, 2022 via the email address used by players to enter the Promotion. Aside from issuing an email, no other attempt will be made to reach a prizewinner. Within five (5) business days of the Lottery’s issuance of an email to a prizewinner, the prizewinner must reply and provide proof of identification and age, along with a valid Florida mailing address where delivery of the prize is to be accomplished. If the Lottery does not have contact with a prizewinner within five (5) business days, the prizewinner shall waive the right to receive his/her prize.
507(a) Mailing by U.S. Mail. Mailing of the prize (1 book of 519Game Number 1472, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”) 526must be made to a valid Florida address. The Lottery will not be responsible or liable for lost, misdirected, stolen, or otherwise failed mailings, and any prize not received will not be replaced or compensated in any manner. A signature will be required upon delivery.
571(b) Acceptable forms of identification are set forth in the Lottery’s rule on the Payment of Prizes, 53ER22-54, F.A.C. A copy of the Lottery’s Payment of Prizes rule can be obtained by contacting the Florida Lottery, Office of General Counsel, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32301. The name on the identification must match the name provided to the Lottery at the time the prizewinner entered the Promotion.
638(c) If a prize cannot be awarded for any reason, the prize will not be awarded654.
655(5) Taxes. All Federal, state, and/or local taxes and/or other costs and fees on all prizes will be the responsibility of the prizewinner.
678(6) Other Restrictions and Provisions.
683(a) A prizewinner must be at least 18 years of age.
694(b) All prizes are subject to the provisions of 703C704hapter 24, F.S., and rules promulgated thereunder. Prizes will be paid in accordance with the Florida Lottery’s rule governing payment of prizes. Copies of the Payment of Prizes rule can be obtained from the Florida Lottery, Office of the General Counsel, 250 Marriott Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-4011.
751(c) 752The Florida Lottery is not responsible or liable for system failures or delays of any sort or type in the issuance or receipt of emails, both to and from the Lottery, including, but not exclusively, computer failures and email service failures.
793(d) Persons prohibited by 797S798ection 79924.116, F.S., 801from purchasing a Florida Lottery ticket are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
