55A-3. County And City Veteran Service Officers |
1(1) A county or city Veteran Service Officer who has successfully completed all training required under the policy of the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs (F.D.V.A.) shall be recommended to the Office of the General Counsel of the United States Department of Veterans’ Affairs to be recognized as a representative of the F.D.V.A., as provided at Title 38, Chapter 59, United States Code.
64(2) A county or city Veteran Service Officer who has been so recognized shall represent the Department in strict conformance with the policy of the F.D.V.A.
90(3) Use of such recognition as an accredited representative by a county or city Veteran Service Officer in a manner inconsistent with the policy of the F.D.V.A. shall result in the withdrawal by the F.D.V.A. of recognition as an accredited representative to the United States Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
