  • 1Each service provider 4must5:

    6(1) Establish service priorities and coordinate the delivery of services to clients.

    18(2) Employ competent and qualified staff to provide the services essential to the achievement of program goals and objectives 37as specified in its contract with the department or the area agency on aging51.

    52(3) Maintain the minimum staffing requirements established 59in its contract with 63the 64d65epartment 66or area agency on aging71.

    72(4) Provide case management services as applicable and as specified in 83its contract with the department or area agency on aging93.

    94(5) Provide respite or model day care services, 102and maintain coordination with 106the memory disorder clinic110s and 112the brain bank as specified in 118its contract with 121the 122d123epartment 124or area agency on aging.

    129(6) Provide pre132-133service and in136-137service training for staff and volunteers as specified in 146its contract with 149the 150d151epartment 152or area agency on aging.

    157(7) Monitor subcontract providers to assure quality of service delivery.

    167(8) Make payments to subcontractors.

    172(9) 173Collect co-payments for services pursuant to Section 180430.503(2), F.S. 182Co-payments must be determined pursuant to Rule 18958C-1.007, 190F.A.C.

    191(10) Maximize the use of volunteers in service delivery.

    200(11) Develop and implement procedures for client appeals.

    208(12) Ensure that quality services are delivered to clients and caregivers.

    219(13) Maintain client and program records and provide reports as required by 231its contract with 234the 235d236epartment 237or area agency on aging.

    242(14) Establish goals and objectives for the Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative research component and submit reports as specified by the 261d262epartment on research activities.
