5B-26.004. Declaration of Oak Wilt Disease as a Plant Pest and Quarantine  


Effective on Sunday, June 4, 1995
  • 1Pursuant to section 4581.031(6), F.S., 6the oak wilt disease incited by Ceratocystis fagacearum is declared to be a plant pest and a nuisance as well as any plant or other thing infested or infected therewith or that has been exposed to infestation or infection and therefore likely to communicate same. A quarantine is hereby established against any state, territory, or country known to be infested with the oak wilt disease defined herein.
