60W-6. Definitions |
60W-6.001. Definitions
1Whenever used in these rules, unless otherwise expressly stated, or unless the context or subject matter requires a different meaning, the following words and phrases shall have the respective meanings indicated below. The definitions provided in Chapter 60S-6, F.A.C., shall not apply to this chapter except when specifically cited.
50(1) ADMINISTRATOR – means the Secretary of the Department of Management Services.
62(2) CREDITABLE SERVICE – means any service subsequent to December 1, 1970, with the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences as a Florida Cooperative Extension Service employee holding both state and federal appointments. Such service must be credited toward a federal Civil Service Retirement System annuity.
108(3) DIVISION – means the Division of Retirement.
116(4) INSTITUTE – means the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Florida.
132(5) JOINT ANNUITANT – means the spouse or any other person who is financially dependent where the other person is someone who is receiving one-half or more of his support from the participant or is eligible to be claimed as a dependent or exemption on the federal income tax return of the participant.
185(6) PARTICIPANT – means any employee of the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida who has met the requirements provided in Rule 21260W-1.003, 213F.A.C.
214(7) TRUST FUND – means the Florida Retirement System 223Trust Fund.
