61D-11. Pari-Mutuel Facility Cardroom Operations |
1(1) Dealers shall be rotated to a different table at least every three hours.
15(2) A dealer who receives currency from a player at a card table in exchange for chips or tokens must perform the following:
38(a) Spread the currency on the top of the card table in front of the imprest tray;
55(b) State the amount of currency received;
62(c) Provide an equivalent dollar amount of chips or tokens to the player; and,
76(d) Place all the currency in the imprest tray.
85(3) Dealers shall take breaks only in areas the cardroom operator has designated on the approved cardroom 102floor plan, submitted pursuant to subsection 10861D-11.012(6), 109F.A.C110.
111(4) Dealers shall accept tips either while dealing at an assigned table or through a system included within the internal controls. If tips are accepted while dealing at an assigned table, the tip shall be accepted by:
148(a) Tapping the tip on the imprest tray; and,
157(b) Dropping the tip in the tip box.
165(5) The tip box shall be counted with all other earned tips for the card dealer’s assigned shift.
183(6) Other than tips, dealers shall not accept any items of value or gifts from card players or any patrons of the facility.
206(7) Dealers shall not allow cash or other personal items that may inhibit play to be placed on a table during the play of any hand.
232(8) Dealers shall:
235(a) Clear their hands when cash, chips, or tokens are exchanged with or provided to a player;
252(b) Inspect decks of cards at their assigned cardroom tables prior to the opening of a new table;
270(c) Inspect decks of cards when a new deck of cards is replaced for use at their assigned table; and,
290(d) Inspect both sides of each card by 298spreading the deck of cards in front of the imprest tray so that each card can be identified316.
