61D-14.050. Floor Plan

  • 1(1) 2No slot machine licensee shall operate any slot machine unless it has submitted a floor plan of the slot machine gaming area to the division, and the division has approved the floor plan pursuant to the requirements of this section.

    42(2) 43The floor plan shall be based on a scale of one quarter inch equals one foot and demonstrates the placement or location of the following:

    68(a) E70ach slot machine with its corresponding location number;

    78(b) S80ecurity cameras or any other surveillance equipment;

    87(c) 88Count rooms and cages;

    92(d) The exact location of the designated slot machine gaming areas of the applicant’s facility. Any designated slot machine gaming area shall be separated by a physical barrier with controlled entry and exit points where the slot machine licensee shall check identifications to ensure no persons under twenty-one (21) years of age are allowed access to the designated slot machine gaming area;

    154(e) 155The security surveillance system monitoring room;

    161(f) 162The office space provided for use by the division as required by Rule 17561D-14.018, 176F.A.C.;

    177(g) At least one armored car bay which is capable of accommodating of loading and unloading an armored car while enclosed within the armored car bay; and,

    204(h) All man traps contained within the slot machine licensee’s facility used to control access to restricted areas of the facility.

    225(3) 226The floor plan shall provide for clear lines of sight for the security surveillance system. There shall be no area in any part of the slot machine licensee’s facility where slot machines are played or where money is collected, distributed, or counted which the security surveillance system shall be unable to monitor with the clarity required in Rule 28461D-14.054, 285F.A.C.

    286(4) A slot machine licensee who proposes to make changes to the floor plan shall submit the proposed changes to the division for review. The division shall review the proposed changes for compliance with the security standards set forth in these rules prior to approving the changes. Floor plan changes shall not be made without the approval of the division. The division shall notify the slot machine licensee of whether it approves the new floor plan. If the floor plan is a pre-approved slot machine tournament floor plan, the slot machine licensee can change the floor plan upon seven days notice to the division.

    390(5) A copy of the floor plan shall be maintained in the surveillance control room and the slot department office. A copy shall be provided to the division for use in the secure monitoring room.
