61E1-1. Asbestos Consultants |
1(1) Each applicant for biennial renewal of a license as an Asbestos Consultant shall:
15(a) Complete 2 days of refresher courses for each calendar year related to any of the courses as outlined in Section 36469.005(2), 37Florida Statutes, which have been approved by the Department; and
47(b) Maintain records demonstrating that each asbestos surveyor, management planner, project designer, and project monitor has completed an approved refresher course each calendar year for each biennial renewal period. The refresher courses must have met the requirements of Section 86469.013, F.S., 88and such records shall be furnished upon request pursuant to Rule 9961-6.010, 100F.A.C.
101(2) Each applicant for renewal of an asbestos contractor license shall:
112(a) Complete 1 day of an asbestos abatement project management and supervisor refresher courses for each calendar year which has been approved by the Department; and
138(b) Maintain records demonstrating that each asbestos abatement worker and onsite supervisor has completed a 1 day refresher course in each calendar year for each biennial period. The refresher courses must have been courses of continuing education approved and required by the Department, and the records related to such course shall be furnished upon request pursuant to Rule 19661-6.010, 197Florida Administrative Code. Such courses shall satisfy the criteria set forth in paragraph 21061E1-2.006(2)(b), 211subparagraphs 21261E1-2.006(4)(c)2., 21361E1-2.006(4)(c)4., 21461E1-2.006(4)(c)6., 21561E1-2.006(4)(c)8., 216and 21761E1-2.006(4)(c)11., 218F.A.C.
