61G18-15. Premises Permits, Minimum Standards For Veterinary Premises And Mobile Clinics, Alternative Method For Obtaining Premises Permit, Inspections |
1(1) An Emergency Rabies Clinic is a type of limited service veterinary medical practice as provided for in § 20474.215(7), F.S.
22(2) An Emergency Rabies Clinic may be established under this rule only after the State Health Officer, in consultation with the State Veterinarian, has declared that an emergency rabies situation exists in a particular area of the State.
60(3) An Emergency Rabies Clinic may not be used as a fundraising event, shall only charge for the actual cost of a rabies vaccination, and shall not offer any other type of immunization or service.
95(4) An Emergency Rabies Clinic that complies with the provisions of this rule shall not be subject to the time limitations contained in subsections 11961G18-15.007(1) 120and (2), F.A.C.; the requirements of physical examinations and histories contained in subsection 13361G18-15.007(3), 134F.A.C.; the requirements contained in paragraphs 14061G18-15.007(4)(a), 141(d), and (e), F.A.C.; nor the fee provided by Rule 15161G18-12.018, 152F.A.C.
153(5) An Emergency Rabies Clinic must register with the Board of Veterinary Medicine prior to commencing its operation, and provide the date(s) of the clinic, the address, and the name(s) of the veterinarian(s) responsible for the vaccinations.
