61J1-2.004. Exemption of Spouses of Members of Armed Forces from Renewal Provisions  


Effective on Sunday, July 5, 2015
  • 1A registered trainee appraiser who is the spouse of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States now or hereafter on active duty and who is absent from the State of Florida because of the spouse’s duties with the Armed Forces shall be exempt from renewal provisions under the Rules of the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board provided he or she is not engaged in his or her licensed profession or vocation in the private sector for profit. The exemption shall last during the absence from the state because of the spouse’s duties with the Armed Forces and for a period of six months after returning to the state.
