62-296. Stationary Sources - Emission Standards |
1(1) Emissions units for which a valid Department operation or construction permit was issued prior to July 1, 1974.
20(a) Burners with a capacity less than 30 million Btu per hour heat input – Visible emissions shall not exceed 20 percent opacity except that visible emissions not exceeding 27 percent opacity shall be allowed for one six-minute period in any one-hour period.
63(b) Burners with a capacity equal to or greater than 30 million Btu per hour heat input.
801. Visible Emissions – shall not exceed 30 percent opacity except that visible emissions not exceeding 9633 percent opacity shall be allowed for one six-minute period in any one-hour period110.
1112. Particulate Matter – shall not exceed 0.3 pounds per million Btu of heat input of carbonaceous fuel plus 0.1 pounds per million Btu heat input of fossil fuel.
140(2) New Emissions Units. “New Emissions Units” are those emissions units which did not receive an operation or air construction permit from the department prior to July 1, 1974.
169(a) Burners of capacity less than 30 million Btu per hour total heat input – 184Visible emissions shall not exceed 18920 percent opacity except that 194visible emissions not exceeding 27 percent opacity shall be allowed for one-six minute period in any one-hour period212.
213(b) Burners of capacity equal to or greater than 30 million Btu per hour total heat input.
2301. Visible Emissions – shall not exceed 30 percent opacity except that 242visible emissions not exceeding 33 percent opacity shall be allowed for one six-minute period in any one-hour period260.
2612. Particulate Matter – shall not exceed 0.2 pounds per million Btu of heat input of carbonaceous fuel plus 0.1 pounds per million Btu heat input of fossil fuel.
290(3) Test Methods and Procedures. All emissions tests performed pursuant to the requirements of this rule shall comply with the following requirements.
312(a) The test method for visible emissions shall be EPA Method 9, 324as described at 32740 C.F.R. Part 60, 331Appendix A-4, adopted and 335incorporated 336by reference at Rule 34062-204.800, 341F.A.C.
342(b) The test method for particulate emissions shall be EPA Method 5, 354as described at 35740 C.F.R. Part 60, 361Appendix A-3, adopted and 365incorporated by reference 368at Rule 37062-204.800, 371F.A.C.
372(c) Test procedures shall meet all applicable requirements of Chapter 62-297, F.A.C.
