62-610. Reuse Of Reclaimed Water And Land Application |
1(1) Lakes, ponds, and other surface waters may be used to store reclaimed water as part of reuse systems permitted under Part III of this chapter. Lakes included under this rule include golf course lakes, stormwater ponds, and other lakes or ponds used as decorative features.
47(2) If these storage lakes are waters of the state, the discharge into the lakes must be permitted under Chapter 62-620, F.A.C. Discharge limits shall be established using the provisions in Chapter 62-650, F.A.C. The discharge shall be subject to the requirements of the antidegradation policy in Rules 9562-4.242 96and 9762-302.300, 98F.A.C.
99(3) If these storage lakes discharge intermittently or continuously to waters of the state, the discharge into the lakes must be permitted under Chapter 62-620, F.A.C. Discharge limits shall be established using the provisions in Chapter 62-650, F.A.C. The discharge shall be subject to the requirements of the antidegradation policy in Rules 15162-4.242 152and 15362-302.300, 154F.A.C.
155(4) Storage lakes which are part of the stormwater management system.
166(a) The applicant shall provide written concurrence from the permitting agency responsible for the environmental resource permit/management and storage of surface water program stating that the lakes have sufficient volume to serve in both stormwater management and reclaimed water storage capacities. The permitting agency responsible for the environmental resource permit/management and storage of surface water program shall establish the control elevation for the storage lake such that the volume required for stormwater management will be available above this control elevation.
246(b) Discharge of reclaimed water to the storage lake shall be allowed only during periods when the level of water in the lake is below the control elevation.
274(c) TBELs shall be imposed on the discharge of reclaimed water to the storage lake. The TBELs will be established based on the treatment and disinfection requirements in Rule 30362-610.460, 304F.A.C.
305(d) The permittee shall be responsible for recording the frequency and duration of discharges out of the storage lake into waters of the state.
329(e) Subsection 33162-610.830(4), 332F.A.C., is applicable only to lakes that are not waters of the state and discharge intermittently to waters of the state.
353(5) Discharge of reclaimed water to isolated storage lakes which do not discharge to waters of the state do not require a permit under Chapter 62-620, F.A.C.
380(6) Storage lakes regulated under Rule 38662-610.830, 387F.A.C., shall be included in the inventory of storage systems required by subsection 40062-610.464(5), 401F.A.C.
