63N-1.0034. Clinical Supervision of Substance Abuse Clinical Staff

  • 1(1) A non-licensed 4Substance Abuse Clinical Staff Person 9who is an employee in a facility licensed under Chapter 397, F.S., or an employee of a Service Provider licensed under Chapter 397, F.S., must work under the direct supervision of a 41Qualified Professional.

    43(2) 44Direct supervision shall 47be documented on the Licensed Mental Health Professionals and Licensed/Certified Substance Abuse Professionals Direct Supervision Log (MHSA 019) or a form developed by the program which contains all the information required in form MHSA 019.

    82(3) The Qualified Professional providing direct supervision is responsible for reviewing and signing 95Comprehensive Assessments, 97Comprehensive Substance Abuse Evaluations, 101Updated Comprehensive Substance Abuse Evaluations, Initial Substance Abuse Treatment Plans and In113dividualized Substance Abuse T117reatment Plans prepared by the non-licensed Substance Abuse 125Clinical Staff Person within ten calendar days.

    132(4) The requirements for documentation of clinical supervision of non-licensed Substance Abuse Clinical Staff employed in a facility licensed under Chapter 397, F.S., or employed by a service provider licensed under Chapter 397, F.S. are provided in Chapter 65D-30, F.A.C.
