63N-1.009. Suicide Prevention

  • 1(1) Each Detention Center, residential commitment program and day treatment program shall develop procedures for implementing the facility’s suicide prevention plan and Suicide Precautions.

    25(2) The facility superintendent or program director must assure that a youth identified with Suicide Risk Factors or determined to be a Potential Suicide Risk is placed on Suicide Precautions until he/she receives Assessment of Suicide Risk by a Licensed Mental Health Professional or Mental Health Clinical Staff Person working under the direct supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional.
