64B8-10.004. Legal Representative Defined

Effective on Monday, February 19, 2001

1Legal representative is defined for the purpose of Section 10456.057, 11Florida Statutes, as a patient’s attorney who has been designated by the patient to receive copies of the patient’s medical records; any legally recognized guardian of the patient; any court appointed representative of the patient; or any other person either designated by the patient or by a court of competent jurisdiction to receive copies of the patient’s medical records.
