64F-5. Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Recognition And Response |
1Such training programs shall include, at a minimum, the following learning objectives:
13(1) Defining Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
19(2) Describing the epidemiology of SIDS.
25(3) Describing the physical features of an infant who has died of SIDS.
38(4) Describing the circumstances associated with a SIDS death.
47(5) Identifying the activities the emergency responder initiates.
55(6) Describing the varied responses of SIDS families to sudden infant death.
67(7) Responding to SIDS families in a sensitive manner.
76(8) Describing the varied emotional reactions of emergency responders to sudden infant death.
89(9) Identifying ways emergency responders may cope with their own critical incident stress.
102(10) Identifying the community resources available to SIDS families.
