64B12-10.003. Responsibility to Client

  • 1An optician shall give due notice to the client when going out of business so that the client may make other arrangements for replacement services. For purposes of this rule, due notice shall consist of publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the area of the optician’s practice for one (1) day for four (4) consecutive weeks informing the clients of the need to seek replacement services and the closing of the practice.
