64B13-15. Discipline |
1(1) For Minor Patient Care Violations the range of penalties are as follows:
14(a) First violation – administrative fine of not less than $750.00 nor more than $5,000.00 per count or offense and, if appropriate, a period of probation of not less than 6 months nor more than 12 months.
52(b) Second violation – administrative fine of not less than $1,000.00 nor more than $6,000.00 per count or offense and a period of probation of not less than 12 months nor more than 18 months.
89(c) Third violation – administrative fine of not less than $2,000.00 nor more than $10,000.00 per count or offense and a period of suspension of not less than 3 months nor more than 12 months.
126(2) For Major Patient Care Violations the range of penalties are as follows:
139(a) First violation – administrative fine of not less than $1,000.00 nor more than $5,000.00 per count or offense and, if appropriate, a period of probation of not less than 12 months nor more than 18 months.
178(b) Second violation – administrative fine of not less than $2,000.00 nor more than $10,000.00 per count or offense and a period of probation and, if appropriate, a period of suspension of not less than 12 months nor more than 24 months.
222(c) Third violation – administrative fine of not less than $3,000.00 nor more than $10,000.00 per count or offense and revocation.
