64B16-26.104. Exemptions for Members of the Armed Forces; Spouses

  • 1(1) Any pharmacist 4or registered pharmacy technician 8on active duty with the Armed Forces of the United States who at the time of becoming a member of the Armed Forces of the United States was in good standing with the Board and was entitled to practice the profession of pharmacy 51or registered 53as a 55pharmacy technician 57in Florida shall be exempt from all license renewal provisions so long as the licensee is on active duty with the Armed Forces and for a period of six months after discharge so long as the licensee is not engaged in the practice of pharmacy in the private sector for profit.

    108(2) A 110pharmacist 111or registered pharmacy technician 115who is a spouse of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States and who was caused to be absent from the State of Florida because of the spouse’s duties with the Armed Forces shall be exempt from all license renewal provisions.
