64B16-28.1191. Unclaimed Prescriptions

Effective on Tuesday, February 7, 2023

1Prescriptions that are unclaimed may be retained by a pharmacy and reused for a period up to one year from the date of filling; however, any product reaching the product’s expiration date prior to one year or any product subject to a recall shall not be reused. If the unclaimed product is in its original manufacturer’s packaging, then the expiration date shall revert back to the date as listed on the original manufacturer’s packaging.
