64B6-7.001. Probable Cause Determination; Composition of Probable Cause Panel

  • 1(1) The determination as to whether probable cause exists to believe that a violation of the provisions of Chapter 456 or 484, Part II, F.S., or of the rules promulgated thereunder has occurred, shall be made by a majority vote of the probable cause panel.

    46(2) The probable cause panel shall be composed of two members of the Board of Hearing Aid Specialists. Not more than one member of the panel may be a lay member. The Chairman may appoint, with the approval of the State Surgeon General, a past board member, who is a licensee in good standing, to serve on the probable cause panel for a maximum of two years.

    113(3) The probable cause members shall be assigned by the Chairman of the Board, and shall meet as necessary or at such times as called by the Chairman of the Board.
