64B9-2.017. Approval of Nursing Education Programs

Effective on Sunday, April 14, 2019

1An educational institution that wishes to conduct a program in this state for the prelicensure education of professional or practical nurses shall submit to the department the following:

29(1) A complete program application, Form DH-MQA 1211 (revised 8/18), “Application for New Nursing Program,” which is incorporated herein by reference and may be obtained from the Board office, 59http://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-10373, 61or at http://floridasnursing.gov/, demonstrating the proposed program meets the requirements of section 73464.019, F.S. 75The application is available from the board office or on the board’s website at http://floridasnursing.gov.

90(2) A review fee of $1,000 for each prelicensure nursing education program to be offered regardless of the location of the instructional site.
