64E-5.1413. Power Failures

Effective on Wednesday, August 14, 1996

1(1) If electrical power at a panoramic irradiator is lost for longer than 10 seconds, the sources must return automatically to the shielded position.

25(2) The lock on the door of the radiation room of a panoramic irradiator must not be deactivated by a power failure.

47(3) During a power failure, the area around the pool of an irradiator shall not be entered without using an operable and calibrated radiation survey meter.
