68A-13. General Hunting Regulations |
1The Commission has approved the following regulations and bag limits for taking crows and migratory game birds other than ducks and coots:
23(1) Mourning doves and white-winged doves:
29(a) Open seasons:
321. First phase – Opening the fourth Saturday of September and closing sunset 22 days thereafter.
482. Second phase – Opening the second Saturday of November and closing 22 days thereafter.
633. Third phase – December 19 through January 31.
72(b) Shooting hours: One-half hour before sunrise until sunset.
81(c) Limits:
831. Daily bag: 15.
872. Possession: 45.
903. The daily bag limit of doves shall be 15 mourning and white-winged doves in the aggregate.
107(2) Rails and Common gallinules:
112(a) Open season: September 1 through November 9.
120(b) Shooting hours: One-half hour before sunrise until sunset.
129(c) Limits:
1311. Rails: Clapper and king.
136a. Daily bag: 15.
140b. Possession: 45, singly or in the aggregate.
1482. Rails: Virginia and sora.
153a. Daily bag: 25.
157b. Possession: 75, singly or in the aggregate.
1653. Common gallinules:
168a. Daily bag: 15.
172b. Possession: 45.
175(3) Woodcock:
177(a) Open season: December 18 through January 31.
185(b) Shooting hours: One-half hour before sunrise until sunset.
194(c) Limits:
1961. Daily bag: three.
2002. Possession: nine.
203(4) Snipe:
205(a) Open season: November 1 through February 15.
213(b) Shooting hours: One-half hour before sunrise until sunset.
222(c) Limits:
2241. Daily bag: eight.
2282. Possession: 24.
231(5) Crow:
233Open season:
235(a) First phase – Opening November 11 (Veterans Day) and closing February 18.
248(b) Second phase – On Saturdays and Sundays only starting the second Saturday in August through 78 days thereafter.
267(6) Falconry:
269(a) Migratory game birds other than ducks and coots may be taken from one-half hour before sunrise to sunset by the use of a falcon during the open season. The daily bag limit for all migratory bird species shall be three birds, singly or in the aggregate, and three days’ bag may be possessed.
323(b) Open seasons:
3261. Mourning doves and white-winged doves: The open season as specified in paragraph (1)(a) of this rule, and February 1 through February 17.
3492. Rails: Opening September 1 and closing December 16.
3583. Common gallinules: Opening September 1 and closing December 13.
3684. Woodcock: Opening November 24 and closing 106 days thereafter.
3785. Snipe: November 1 through February 15.
