69B-222.010. Purpose and Scope

Effective on Tuesday, October 12, 1993

1(1) The purpose of this rule chapter is to set out Department policy as to insurance related activities which may and may not be engaged in by persons who hold no licensure under chapter 626, F.S.

37(2) These rules shall apply to all persons who conduct any of the activities described in this rule chapter; and to agents and other licensees under Chapter 626, F.S., who employ, contract with, or otherwise use the services of such persons.

78(3) Nothing in this rule chapter shall prevent or relieve any licensee from their obligations under sections 626.735 and 97626.747, F.S., 99or any other provision of the Florida Insurance Code, or rules or orders of the Department.
