69N-121.003. Organizational Structure of the Office

  • 1(1) Under the Commissioner of the Office are hereby established a chief of staff, a general counsel, and deputy commissioners as follows:

    23(a) Deputy commissioner for property and casualty; and,

    31(b) Deputy commissioner for life and health.

    38(c) Deputy commissioner for market regulation.

    44(2) The general counsel shall also serve as the agency clerk for the Office.

    58(3) The following organizational units are established within the Office of Insurance Regulation:

    71(a) Office of Inspector General

    76(b) Office of General Counsel

    81(c) Division of Property and Casualty, which shall include the following business units:

    941. Property and Casualty Financial Oversight office

    1012. Property and Casualty Product Review office

    108(d) Division of Life and Health, which shall include the following business units:

    1211. Life and Health Financial Oversight office

    1282. Life and Health Product Review office

    135(e) Division of Market Regulation, which shall include the following business units:

    1471. Property and Casualty Market Regulation office

    1542. Life and Health Market Regulation office

    161(f) Market Research and Technology office

    167(4) Each Division shall be headed by a Deputy Commissioner

    177(5) Each Office shall be headed by a Director

    186(6) The Office of Inspector General shall be headed by the inspector general.

    199(7) The Office of General Counsel shall be headed by the general counsel.
