69O-184.007. Claims; Method of Handling

  • 1Adjustment of claims shall be made in accordance with policy terms by qualified representatives of the insurance company. No plan or arrangement should be entered into whereby any person, firm or corporation, other than the company, pays or repays, either directly or indirectly, any losses or claims on policy issued by the company. All claim payments shall be made either by draft drawn upon the insurance company or by check of the insurance company to the order of the claimant to whom payment of claim is due, pursuant to the policy conditions, or upon direction of such claimant to whom payment of claim is due, pursuant to the policy conditions, or upon direction of such claimant to one specified as payee.
