69B-150.115. Group or Quasi-Group Implications

  • 1(1) An advertisement of a particular policy or contract shall not state or imply that prospective insureds become group or quasi-group members covered under a group policy or contract and as such enjoy special rates or underwriting privileges, unless such is the fact. The term “enrollment” shall not be used except in connection with the offer of group insurance.

    60(2) No solicitation of a particular class, such as governmental employees, shall state or imply that the occupational status of class members entitles them to reduced rates on a group or other basis when, in fact, the policy being advertised is sold only on an individual basis at regular rates.
