69K-23.002. Examination Requirements.  


Effective on Sunday, April 27, 2003
  • 1(1) An applicant shall be required to attain a score of 75% on the written examination prepared and administered by the Department with a fractional percentage score of one-half (.5) point or higher, raised to the next whole number.

    40(2) The area of competency to be covered by the examination as provided above shall be:

    56(a) The signs of death;

    61(b) The manner in which death may be determined;

    70(c) With respect to disposition of dead human bodies, the following state and federal laws and rules, or relevant portions thereof will be included: Chapter 382, Chapter 406, Section 99872.06 100and Chapter 497, Florida Statutes;  Chapter 11G-2, Chapter 69K-20, Chapter 69K-22, Chapter 69K-23 and 64V-1, Florida Administrative Code; 11810 U.S.C. 1481-1488.

    121(3) An applicant who fails the examination shall retake the entire examination.
