69U-110.063. Credit Unions Liquidation Certificate and Maintenance of Records

  • 1(1) Upon completion of voluntary or involuntary liquidation proceedings of a credit union, the liquidator shall file with OFR a Certificate of Dissolution. The Certificate of Dissolution is Form OFR-U-69, (revised 3/2003), which is incorporated herein by reference and which may be obtained without cost by contacting OFR. OFR may then appoint a custodian of the books and records of the dissolved credit union. Books and records shall immediately thereafter be delivered to the custodian by the liquidator or the board of directors.

    84(2) OFR shall appoint as custodian the National Credit Union Administration to keep and maintain the books and records of such dissolved credit union.

    108(3) The custodian shall maintain such books and records in a safe and reasonable manner and as prescribed by Section 128655.91, F.S. 130Such books and records shall not be destroyed without the prior written approval of OFR. OFR reserves the right to demand delivery of such books and records at any time.
