6A-4.02451. Florida Teacher Standards for ESOL Endorsement

1The competencies and indicators required for approval of educator preparation programs pursuant to Rule 156A-5.066, 16F.A.C., and for district in-service add-on programs pursuant to Section 261012.575, F.S., 28for the Endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), are contained in the publication, “Florida Teacher Standards for ESOL Endorsement 2010,” which is hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this rule. These competencies are published on the Bureau of Student Achievement through Language Acquisition, Department of Education website at 83www.fldoe.org/aala/perstand.asp84. Copies of this publication may also be obtained from the Bureau of Student Achievement through Language Acquisition, K-12 Public Schools, Department of Education, 325 West Gaines Street, Room 501, Tallahassee, Florida 32300-0400. The standards set forth in Florida Teacher Standards for ESOL Endorsement 2010129shall be incorporated into all teacher preparation programs and district in-service add-on programs not later than September 1, 2011.
