6A-6.0203. Awarding High School Diplomas to Eligible Persons Previously Confined to the Dozier School for Boys or Okeechobee School
1(1) The Commissioner may award a standard high school diploma to eligible persons previously confined to the Dozier School for Boys or Okeechobee School who meet the following requirements:
30(a) Received compensation pursuant to section 16.63, Florida Statutes, as verified by the Department of Legal Affairs; and
48(b) Has not completed high school graduation requirements.
56(2) An application verifying all the information set forth in subsection (1) of this rule shall be forwarded, upon completion, to the Florida Department of Education using 83Form FLDOZ-01, Standard High School Diploma Application, 90(91http://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-1705893) effective October 2024, which is hereby incorporated by reference in this rule. Form FLDOZ-01 may be obtained by contacting the Florida Department of Education, Student Services, 325 West Gaines Street, Room 644, Tallahassee, Florida 32399.
