9B-22.006. Match Requirements (Transferred)

  • 1(1) CSBG funds shall be matched by an amount equal to 20 percent of the funds received by the grantee. Not less than 10 percent of the match shall be in cash. The grantee must supply a cash match equal to at least 2 percent of the CSBG funds received.

    51(2) Funds from any other source may be used as match, provided this is permitted by the other funding source and conditions for use of the funds do not conflict with the laws and rules governing CSBG funds. The source and amount of funds must be clearly identified in the proposed contract.

    103(3) Match resources and uses cannot be duplicated for more than one State or Federal grant.

    119(4) CSBG funds received may never be used to fulfill the minimum 2 percent CSBG cash-match requirement.

    136(5) In-kind match sources must absorb the balance of the overall minimum of 20 percent match requirement after the minimum 2 percent cash match requirement is met. Valuation of the in-kind match must be made in accordance with 17445 C.F.R. 74.52-74.57.

    177(6) All cash or in-kind match must be directly related to the approved CSBG program or CSBG administrative expense.

    196(7) Cash or in-kind match may not be applied to secondary administrative expenses.
