PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule development is to impart currency, accuracy and simplicity to the Division’s rules as well as ensure that the rules conform to federal regulations. The rules being developed are also intended to clearly specify the scope of services to be provided by the Division, to clarify the timeframe in which certain procedural steps must be taken, and to establish what procedures must be followed by blind individuals in order to receive the requested benefits.
