    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, January 23, 2020, 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Citrus County National Guard Armory 8551 W. Venable Street, Crystal River, FL 34429

    In the event the Public Information Meeting cannot be held on January 23, 2020 due to severe weather or unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of February 18, 2020 at the same time and place.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This Public Information Meeting is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the design of the Suncoast Parkway 2 (SR 589), Phase 2, a new limited access tolled roadway from SR 44 to CR 486, in Citrus County, Florida (Financial Project Identification Number: 442764-1). The meeting will be an informal open house from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be no formal presentation. Interested persons will have an opportunity to ask the project team questions and provide comments. Displays illustrating the alternatives for the proposed design will be available for review.
