NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Office of Financial Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Heritage Investment Group, Inc. and Heritage Trust Protector Services, LLC. on November 18, 2019. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: On January 9, 2020, a Final Order on the Petition was issued. The Office determined that Petitioners' proposed activities do not constitute engaging in the activities prohibited by and listed in Section 660 .41, Florida Statutes; the Office is unable to issue a declaratory statement as to the applicability of Section 736.0808, Florida Statutes, to the Petitioners' particular set of circumstances, or to their proposed activities; and the Office is unable to issue a declaratory statement as to the applicability of any non-specified laws or regulations of the State of Florida. ******The original petition was published November 20, 2019 in the Florida Administrative Register Volume 45, Number 226.
