    The Florida Department of Transportation, District 5 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: January 15, 2008, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Altamonte Springs Holiday Inn Hotel, 230 West SR 436, Crown Meeting Room, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This public meeting will be held to discuss the future closing of the SR 436 median opening at Wymore Road and Douglas Avenue in conjunction with I-4 Ultimate improvements in Seminole County from the Orange County/Seminole County line to east of Central Parkway. The meeting will be held in an “open house” format with brief presentations at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions and discuss the project with the public. Modifications include:

    Improved I-4/SR 436 interchange

    Closing of the SR 436 median opening at Wymore Road and Douglas Avenue

    Removal of the traffic signal at SR 436, Wymore Road and Douglas Avenue

    Access to Wymore Road from westbound SR 436 via Westmonte Drive

    Access to Douglas Avenue from eastbound SR 436 via Westmonte Drive

    A pedestrian bridge over I-4 at SR 436
