GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of these workshops is to solicit public comment on a draft vision for the future management and protection of the marine fisheries resources of Florida. A Draft vision document has been prepared with input from stakeholders representing commercial fishing, recreational fishing, research and environmental interests. Comments are being sought regarding this draft document, which includes a vision statement, and five focus areas relating to habitat enhancement and protection, ecosystem management, research coordination, interagency coordination, and funding and staffing needs.
